Teaching is what I love, and I am blessed to be a part of Teachable Tech,Inc. and Championship Chess. After a 2 year stint in the Peace Corps in Chad, W. Africa, I came to Atlanta to attend Emory U for my M.A.T. Since then I have married one of my fellow grad school classmates, Jan, we had a family, Stephen and Sara, and started Teachable Tech in the late 80's to foster the use of technology in education. After working for CNN, The Weather Channel, and ABC News online, we have done that and more. Today I spend a lot of my time promoting and teaching our curriculum for scholastic chess, attending conferences, marketing our programs and training teachers and home schooling parents to use it in their schools, homes and co-ops.
