The primary cultural destination in Central Florida

The Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) is the primary art, history and science museum in Central Florida. Located on a 90-acre Florida nature preserve, the 100,000 square foot facility is host to over 30,000 objects including the finest collection of American Art in the southeast, the largest collection of Cuban art outside of Cuba, a significant Chinese art collection, and Florida’s prehistoric Giant Ground Sloth. Also on display, is Coca-Cola entrepreneur Chapman Root’s lifetime collection of Americana, including two private rail cars. The museum’s theater, planetarium, and children’s center make for a truly interactive experience.

The Charles and Linda Williams Children’s Museum opened November 21, 2008 and is the only hands-on science center in Volusia County. The 9,000 square foot addition to the Museum of Arts & Sciences houses cutting-edge, interactive science exhibits for children ages 4 to 14.

Visit our website or call (386) 255-0285 for more information.

Guests to Gamble Place can step back in time to experience the same pristine environment that James Gamble found so inviting during his first visit to the area in the late 1800′s. James N. Gamble, of the Procter and Gamble Company and a long time winter resident of Daytona Beach, bought this land on Spruce Creek for use as a rural retreat. Photo: Guests to Gamble Place can step inside an exact replica of Snow White’s Cottage.

Educational tours of the grounds and buildings built by Gamble and his family will be offered to the public by the Museum of Arts and Sciences Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm with guided house tours at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Tours are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for children 6 to 17; children 5 and under and MOAS members will be admitted for free. Dress like your favorite Disney Princess and you will be admitted to Gamble Place for FREE!
