Core Academy of Science is a nonprofit organization that provides online educational experiences for learners of all ages. We currently offer homeschool science courses for high school students. The courses feature video lessons designed by and starring actual scientists. Each course is compatible with multiple textbooks and is supervised by a teacher. Courses include video lessons, written notes, homework assignments, quizzes, and tests. Each student will receive a point summary at the end of the course, but parents retain control of the final grade assignment. Since we are not a school, there are no registration requirements. Just purchase the course you want, and we’ll sign you up!

A fun interactive biblical teaching kit on God’s Full Armor. Children ages 3-12 can learn to Put on God’s armor with God’s Full Armor 4 Kids.
The kit includes, a story book with easy to understand principles of Ephesians 6 along with coloring pages for each piece of armor. It also includes a high quality craft apron and fabric markets to color in each peice of armor. A lesson plan is part of the kit providing fun activities to support each piece of the kit.
This kit can be used with an individual child or with a group of children. Each child will need a kit for maximum fun and education.

Piano Lessons

If you are interested in your child taking piano lesssons in the Henry County area, Kathy Tucker is now accepting new students. The cost is $20 a lesson, one half hour lesson a week, three piano classes per school year, and two piano recitals a year. Kathy is an accomplished pianist. She studied piano performance for two years at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Md., and studied privately with Lillian Freundlich of the Juilliard School of Music. She has had many compositions recorded and published. Kathy currently serves on the Music Staff at First Baptist Church of McDonough, GA.
