We are excited to announce our programming offerings for students for the 2010-2011 school year. We have both instructor led experiences and a Home School Day opportunity.
Home School Day – October 5th, 2010 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Annually we offer a home school day where homeschoolers can come and use the Aquarium as a living laboratory. We will have activity stations, arts-n-crafts, and gallery carts for students to explore and learn about our aquatic animals and ecosystems. Activities will be age/grade appropriate.
Cost: $15 per person for admission
Tickets can be purchase at www.georgiaaquarium.org/homeschoolday. Tickets will also be sold day of. Everyone must purchase a ticket to enter Aquarium and a Home School Letter of Intent must be shown at check in.
Check in will be just inside the main entrance.
Home School Instructor-Led Education Experience Program Details
Georgia Aquarium offers home school students the opportunity to participate in the Instructor-Led programs. The Instructor-Led programs are available on certain Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year at 1:45 p.m. and at 2:45 p.m. Please visit our website to view the home school education programs schedule.
- Programs are available for students Pre-K through 12th grade
- All programs include the 4D theatre for all grades
- $12.00 per student for 1 program
- 1 adult per 2 students in all grades required. Adults within the ratio receive free admission
- Teacher guides are available on our website for parents to download and use.
