Georgia Virtual School is a program of the Georgia Department of Education’s Office of Technology Services. The program is SACS CASI accredited and operates in partnership with schools and parents to offer high school level courses across the state to public, private and home school students. Georgia Virtual School provides a teacher led, virtual classroom environment. Georgia home schoolers may take one unit (or two half units) during both Fall and Spring semesters using state funding on a first come, first served basis. The 22 Advanced Placement courses and 6 world language offerings are particularly popular with academically talented middle and high school home school students.
