I have been playing for 21 years and I have a Bachelors degree in Music. I have been teaching for 5 years and love what I do! My philosophy is to encourage a love of music and independent thinking. Music is the language of the heart, but it has to be deciphered first. I see my goal as a translator that guides students in understanding but then lets them find their own ways to speak.
