HEArts (Homeschool Enrichment in the Arts) provides quality hands-on instruction for grades K-12. The mission of HEArts is to offer quality instruction in subjects challenging to teach at home with competent, professional teachers in a Christ-centered environment, thereby affirming parents in their God-given roles and responsibilities. Past curriculum has included (but is not limited to): piano/keyboard, guitar, chorus, band, orchestra, bells, art, art history, photography, science/experiments, history, creative writing, Spanish, and gym classes.

Outdoor Wisdom Leadership School, AKA the “OWLS” Program

The OWLS program exists to help participants grow mentally, physically, and spiritually in outdoor settings. Most of our outings are provided to teens and family groups and involve canoe-camping or backpacking but we also organize mountain biking/trail riding trips, climbing and rappelling trips, caving trips, COPE activities, rafting trips, and trips involving other activities when desired.

A group for those in the Gwinnett County area to share information about homeschooling info, events and activities. The idea is to “connect” homeschoolers from different groups. This is not a chat group although you may ask questions regarding homeschooling. Replies go directly to the sender.

The group is geared toward, but not limited to, Christian Homeschoolers.

Dunwoody Area Support for Christian Homeschoolers (DASCH) is a support network for Christian families who have chosen to home school their children. Through co-op classes, park days, field trips, email lists, moms’ support meetings and other social events, we provide opportunities to connect with other homeschoolers.

We welcome all families who are willing to agree with our statement of faith and handbook. We have participating families in Fulton, Gwinnett, & Dekalb Counties.

SHOUT (Summit Homeschool Outreach)

SHOUT is a Christian encouragement group for homeschooling mothers in Cobb, Cherokee, Paulding counties and surrounding areas. We meet monthly on the third Thursday nights at Summit Baptist Church in Acworth to learn from speakers, discuss field trips, pray, and be encouraged in our teaching and Christian walk.
