Macon Worldschoolers Meet-up Group

We are families who take responsibility for our kids education by exposing them to new experiences out in the world. Most of us homeschool, but we realize that lots of learning occurs at home and with other families. So we aim to provide opportunities for parents to get together for encouragement and fun, and for kids to just be kids and have fun learning experiences. We invite all who share our passion to join us for fun activities.

We are not a religious group and do not require a statement of faith or acceptance of any by-laws. There are no dues to join or maintain membership. All we ask is for kindness and respect to be shown to any attending our meet-ups. We expect the children to follow these same behaviors.

Ride a wagon through the apple orchard to the petting farm where you can feed & pet baby farm animals. Milk a real cow and watch pigs race to the finish line. Listen to Barney the bull talk about our IPM pest management program and facts about cows and chickens. Sample our fresh squeezed apple cider. Play on the playground and enjoy our picnic area. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for children with learning disabilities to learn and grow educationally and socially by using multisensory teaching methods, relationship building skills and other educational tools to reach their full potential. Welcome to the Home School Connection of Middle Georgia! We are a group of parents who have chosen home schooling as the means to educate our children with excellence. Classes, designed and taught by parents, are offered each Fall and Spring. We meet weekly to teach our children cooperatively a variety of subjects and/or enrichment classes. We also offer field trips and social activities. It is a great place for you and your student to learn and meet new friends. We are a private group and are not sponsored or supported by any other organization in any way.
