This is a blog to answer all the questions moms have because we all know kids aren’t the only ones with questions. In fact, you might say that kids are the reason moms have so many questions :) . This blog focuses on preschool ideas, fun child and family activities, life, and sometimes stuff to just be a lady.

PCHC: Peachtree Corners Homeschool Co-op, Tapestry of Grace, Year 4

Here is our description of programs offered at PCHC with their preschool siblings:

#1We are continuing with our Friday Co-op starting on the 2nd & 4th Friday mornings between August to December & January to April for 8 meeting days with a Presentation Day ending each term. We have homeschool classes for K-High School and their Preschool Siblings. We are currently gearing up to our Fall 2012 term. Our membership is OPEN

#2New this fall, we are adding Weekday Classes with tuition fees offered weekly on Tues, Weds, & Thurs. Some of the classes include Music-group & private lessons, HS Garage Band, Musical Theatre, Music Theory from Music Life Studio. We will be offering academic classes including: Math-Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Economics; Science-Biology & Lab, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science (Geology); Foreign Languages: French, Arabic, Spanish, Latin

#3New for fall, we will begin with Year 4 from Tapestry of Grace (TOG). See Link: http://www.tapestryofgrace.com/year4/ As families register to explore the 20th Century, from the turn of the Century to today, we will Plan our journey together. TOG uses the history of the world to guide your whole family through an amazing humanities education including subjects: History, Church History, Literature, Geography, Fine Arts, Government, Philosophy, Writing & Composition, and more

PCHC is having their Meet & Greet Family Picnic on Friday, August 3rd for New and Returning Members to meet teachers and new friends (members), turn in Registration Paperwork, pay fees, and have fun playing in a nearby park. You must be registered with your PCHC Director to be able to attend this gathering only 1 week before classes begin. Come join us…we would love to have you in our supportive encouraging homeschool group:)

We are a home school family that offer wonderful books and products. We enjoy the people we meet and the customers we serve. For 10+ years, I (Jody Robertson) have been a consultant with Usborne Books And More. The books have been such a belssing to our family and to so many other familes too. Consequently, my children enjoy the books and like it when the UPS driver comes with another box of books. We often offer savings and wouldlove to service your needs. Please contact us if you have questions or need suggestions (from babies, to even a few I highly suggest for adutls). I enjoy helping kids find books they enjoy, even the relunctant readers! Since I am a busy homeschool mom that puts family first, I rely heavily on word-of-mouth for our business.

The Education Play Station offers a variety of classes, both hybrid-style and extracurricular, a 3 and 4 year old preschool, tutoring, and therapeutic services. Joyful Noise Homeschool Band is a homeschool band run on Christian principles, meeting weekly on Fridays at Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia.

Joyful Noise Home School Band provides band and orchestra instruction on four levels. In addition to the band and orchestra programs, Joyful Noise also provides two levels of jazz band, chorus, recorder, guitar, music theory, woodwind ensemble and a preschool music program called “Joyful Noisemakers” and even Marching Band!

We want to honor God with the talents He has given us. To God be the glory!
