11:15 AM – The Homeschooling Edge: A College Professor’s View (Dr. Carol Reynolds/Professor Carol/Discovering Music) – There are many formulas to predict success in college. Dr. Reynolds came to realize that students who had been homeschooled were likely to be at the top of the class. She will share her observations, including explaining the advantages homeschoolers have over over other students. She will also discuss things you can do to ensure your homeschooled students arrive in college with these advantages. (Room 112)
