Parents learn to remediate their child’s difficulties with reading and spelling using Orton Gillingham based materials and specifically Wilson Language Training Materials. Yes! you can help your child! We’ve been there too – tried every reading program and although you have spent many hours teaching your child, they still don’t seem to retain much and certainly can’t remember how to spell most words. Wilson Language Training Materials and a few other, simple tools complete a parent/child friendly approach. Through a multisensory, structured and sequential method students finally grasp and remember the structure of language and become fluent readers and spellers.

Although parents will be successful using Wilson Language with their children, the complexity of the materials and additional information needed, demand that parents receive actual training in order to be able to effectively tutor their child. With the strong instruction from this one day seminar, parents will be fully equipped to move their child towards reading and spelling success.

  • Learn to use the Wilson Lesson plan with modifications for greater efficiency.
  • Get additional notes and information that allow for faster and greater student success!
  • Discover a few additional tools for supporting students with poor memories.
  • Discuss the pros and cons of specific programs, materials, and technology.

Cost

  • Individual Registration – $45.00 online ($60 at the door)
  • Husband/Wife Registration – $60.00 online ($75 at the door)

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the excellent Expo this year! All the workshops I attended were so helpful - I wanted to go to more. The vendors were so very helpful. So many new products coming out. So many wonderful services available to homeschoolers! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put on this Expo. Can't wait for next years!

We went to the expo on a quest for more information, and what we learned has completely changed our lives! I've shared the information, and now three of my friends have started homeschooling their children too. God bless you!
