Jessica Fagerstrom grew up in Kenya as a daughter of missionaries. After witnessing the nation’s political violence in 2007, she determined that she would dedicate her life to using education as means of giving a voice to the voiceless. Since that time, Jessica has taught in both public and private educational institutions in more than ten countries.
After spending nearly 10 years as a teacher in both public and private schools, Jessy Fagerstrom made the decision to pursue alternative learning opportunities for her two boys. Since that time, she has founded Wild + Free Gwinnett County, a free, weekly nature homeschool co-op. The group has grown significantly over the last few years and now serves over 1,300 families in the North Georgia area. Jessy is passionate about empowering families in their homeschooling journey and creating a homeschool community where adults and kids alike can thrive.
