Michael was home-schooled for his entire life. He played football for the North Georgia Falcons, a home-school team in suburban Atlanta. Michael played four seasons of varsity football for coach Roger McDaniel of the Falcons and served three years as team captain. Michael played center, tight end and on the defensive line in high school and also played one year of basketball. Mike was the 2005 football team captured the NACA?Division 4 national championship. His 2004 team won the state Georgia Football League championship. Michael went on to play offensive line for Georgia Tech. Michael graduated and was hired as an offensive line coach for the Georgia State University Panthers football team. Michael currently coaches offensive line for Decatur High School and leads the youth ministry at All Souls Fellowship Church in Decatur.
Originally from Roswell, GA, Mike graduated from Georgia Tech in December 2011 with a degree in Psychology. Mike is currently attending Reformed Theological Seminary in Marietta.
